Virtual Keyboard Problem with Shortlist StoryMap Template's Search

See screen capture for illustration of the problem. Is this a known bug? Are there any known fixes/workarounds that I can do in my self-hosted code to resolve this? 

To reproduce the problem go to any shortlist storymap that has search enabled, for example this one, and execute a search. Tested on Pixel 2 device with default virtual keyboard.
