Story Map search facility keeps resetting itself

I've created a basic StoryMap, but each time I open it to edit something else, the search settings reset themselves to the default, and I have to edit them all over again. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know why it might be happening and more importantly how to stop it.

Hi. sorry about the issue. Can you confirm you are using the Story Map Basic app? Also if the web map you are using in your Story Map is shared publicly could you post its URL so we can have a look, and the URL of your story. Last thing : what are you seeing in the app that shows you the search settings have been reset: for example are you not seeing a particular locator listed in the search box, or are the options you are specifying in the configuration UI not being saved correctly. 

Tip: It may be better to go through Esri tech support to get this resolved because depending on how your search is configured, things like different sorts of custom locators can be quite involved.

As far as knowing the search facility has been reset, when I go into it, it has been reset. I'm not sure what else I can say. I'm not trying to do anything particularly complex, just rename some fields and set the suggestions option.
