I am working on the Side Accordion web app. When I go to view it on my machine using the path, c:/localhost/(the folder name)/index.html, I get a sign in screen that says, "Please sign in to access the item on ArcGIS Online (item)". First off I am already signed in to ArcGIS Online, second it requires me to do this every time I view the page. I created a shortlist web app and never had this problem. This is more annoying than anything, but is there a way around this, or a way to disable this?

Thanks,
Jerry

The app is prompting for a login because either the app, webmaps, or layers within the webmaps have not been shared publicly. The only "work around" is to make sure everything is shared publicly.

Because the application is not hosted on ArcGIS Online, it is not aware that you are logged in because it does not set any additional cookies.

Hey,

Is it possible to configure the username and password as I dont want the popup to come over.

Such that I whenever I am accessing the private layers, it should configure the respective arc gis online server.
