I’m working with a shortlist using data “as is” from a feature service that I’m hosting (ArcGis Server).

Everything works just fine while I’m editing my app, but when I try to do the shortlist preview the app won’t load: “Application is initializing. Thanks for waiting” – but it never does.

Hi Laura,

I looked into this and this appears to be a bug on our side.  If you are able to host the app yourself, the latest release with the fix can be downloaded here:  Release V2.3.3 · Esri/storymap-shortlist · GitHub

If this is not an option, a workaround would be to either add another theme/tab_name category, or to use one of the other workflows.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Hi Laura,

It appears one of the layers in your web map is unavailble, I assume this is your Shortlist layer.  If you try to view the web map in the web map viewer (https://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=f31138c3564a4c13ac436175a95f1271), it displays a message "Unable to establish a secure connection to the layer. The layer, Parceles, cannot be added to the map.".  And when I go the service URL, there is also an error.  http://geoportal.amb.cat/geoserveispi/rest/services/PTerEco/Parceles/MapServer/0.

Hi Mark,

Yesterday we stopped our services to do some tests, and that's why our layer was unavailable.

Currently we have our services working again and unfortunately the problem persists.

Thanks and excuse me for the inconvenience.
