I am creating a tabbed story map series which utilizes pop-up windows to display feature attributes. Unfortunately, the pop-up window covers most of the feature, so the user cannot easily see the boundaries of the area for which they are reading this information. An ideal solution would be to have the content of the pop-up window appear in the side panel of the story map, while still highlighting the selected feature.
I have found similar threads on GeoNet, but none seem to specify a story map series (i.e. multiple maps in a story map). This thread mentions the Minimalist, Information Lookup, and Geo List web apps, but none offer multiple maps. There's also sample code for this in the Javascript API documentation, but I'm not sure what to do with that and if it can work with a story map.
I tried creating creating a series of Minimalist web maps and loading each into the tabbed story map series as webpages, but I lose the ability to maintain the same extents across tabs.
