Hey everybody!

1. How could I add the legend of points like this story map?

2. Could I edit my story map after share?

3. Is there any way to use an antique/vintage map as basemap?

Thanks.

1. In the Story Map Tour, you can use HTML tags in the subtitle to add symbols or colors to guide your readers. You could also create an intro image that includes symbols too. This map tour from City of Vista, CA uses both techniques:

For some more examples see these: http://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/gallery/#s=0&q=legend&md=storymaps-apps:map-tour

2. Yes, you can edit story maps at any time before or after sharing them

3. Yes you can add historic maps as a basemap. Do a search in ArcGIS for historic map layers or have a look at these great historical maps from the David Rumsey collection: http://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=b9643018e54c494dbc2fa33e319d6e5e

Hey,

1. There is an option when you edit the main stage (in the map journal version) to add a legend.

2. You will always be able to edit your story map.

3. You will have to add your basemap in ArcGIS Online. This might help Using custom basemaps | ArcGIS Blog

Thanks Rupert - this is a workaround though, surely? Why not enable map tours to have proper legends based on the web map layers?
