Extracting emf picture from style file

Hi, there are several emf symbols which were passed to me in a style file, and I wanted to make some simple edits to some of them.

Is there a way for me to extract out the emf so that I can make the necessary edits in a vector design software (i.e. Inkscape)?

Just place them using Styledump - http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=0baef969273f4dc28e0c6ed167571748

Then copy marker to clipboard and paste as EMF. If it is based on TrueType fonts then you will need also to have those fonts installed. For better quality scale the symbol before copying.
