We are testing a Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field unit with ArcPad 10 and it works great for data collection, but we can not get the camera to work.  We get the camera to open and take a picture in arcpad but it will not save.  We are pretty new to the ArcPad software and have not used a device with a built in camera before.  If anyone has used Arcpad and a toughbook with a built in camera, can you give some advice on how to use it?  Thanks for your help.

We are using the same tablets in the field as well and would also like to know the camera code to use with this unit.

How have the Panasonic H1's worked for you guys?  Looking at getting a couple with GPS and camera.  Currently using Handheld Algiz 7 with ArcPad7 but the screen size is a little small for our needs.  Please let me know what you think of the H1's.

Hi Sean,

Did you ever resolve this issue? We're having the exact same problem.

Unfortunately, we could not resolve the issue without a considerable time investment.  We decided to use other hardware to effectively capture the same data without the use of the Toughbook and ArcPad.

Just as well - I emailed ESRI about it and it's actually been reported as a bug, with no fix as yet (http://support.esri.com/en/bugs/nimbus/TklNMDczMDYz). What we'll be doing is capturing photos outside of the ArcPad software and linking the table/image link manually.
