Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to replicate only part of feature class within a file geodatabase, then have it sync with the parent file after editing in the field using ArcPad. For example I have a master file for all of the invasive species locations within a feature data set and want to create a child-replica of each of the species separately(i.e. Tallow file, Cogon grass file and so on) to be part of the feature data set. Then be able to check-out the child to my Trimble make edits in the field and once the file is checked-in it will synchronize the changes to both the child and parent replica. This is only going to be for personal data collection.

Thanks,

Allix

Yes, replicas will obey definition queries and/or constraint by current extent.
