jpegs not showing up in arcpad

use arcpad tool in arcmap, load lines shapefiles etc., works fine, add a jpeg or tiff and it moves to file but doesn't show up in arcpad.  Used to work fine I don't change the way I do things except using arcmap 3.1 now.

ArcView 3.x? (Or 10.3?)   What version of ArcPad?

i have had some issued with my jpg2 file turning white if I try to mess with the symbology of my shape files.  It is making no sense, but I have ArcMap 10.3.1 loaded on this machine....however not using it for the symbology update. Anyway, not sure that is releated, but in case we have something in common that is causing an issue.  I'm still trying to track the issue down too.

You may need to go into the Advanced Options and check on the check box for viewing jpegs or other such images. This is in ArcPad.

I agree with Adrian, the extension for JPEGs may not be switched on in ArcPad.
