Hello
Can ArcPad list shape files in subfolders so the table structure can be used in a newly created shape file?

I'm trying to create a new shape file. During the process I'd like to import the table structure from an existing shape file.
However the sub folder that contains the shape file does not show up and so I can't select the shape file who's table structure I'd like to import.

The folder "Fieldwork" shows up however the subfolder "ShpTemplates" does not. "Fieldwork" is in "My Documents".

Even when I have "All Folders" selected the shape file is not listed.

When I move the shape file to the "Fieldwork" folder it is listed and I can therefore import it.

I've changed the path ways in "Options" > "Paths" to no effect.

What's going on? Can ArcPad list shape files in subfolders so the table structure can be used in a newly created shape file?

I'm using ArcPad 10 on a Trimble Juno 3B.

You can edit the parameter templates with ArcPad Studio. Open therefore \My Documents\My ArcPad\ExtensionPrefs.apx on your device. And don't forget to make a backup, just in case.
