It is a good map really
Is this at its greatest extent in a point in history, or the furthest points to which it extended throughout history? Would be nice to explore this dataset through time and explore name changes, etc.
I think so, since Britain is included.
Nice,
I have work on my Italian.
I agree, many of the places on that map would be much more recognizable by their native name, not by a Romanization that took place after occupation. I kept looking for Trier and couldn't find it.
You can use the search window, write Trier
this is why the search option made
the print screen picture is too big for upploading
Trier, Col. Augusta Treverorum (Trier GER)
An ancient place, cited: BAtlas 11 G3 Col. Augusta Treverorum
I know where it is, but since all the names are romanized, its hard to find them at first glance. Search bar is a handy tool, I was just doing a visual check earlier.
Still a very handy resource, I'm going to share that link.

I'd also like to mention The History of Rome Podcast -- it's an excellent (free!) podcast (one of my favorites ever) and this map adds a lot of visual context to enhance the experience.
I saw it, but cant find how to listen to the audios
Nice job! This map would've been so helpful 20 years ago when I studied History in highschool! Thanks for sharing!
Yes, this is true
