Hey Workforce Community,

We’re excited to share that a new way to coordinate fieldwork is coming to ArcGIS Field Maps. Our next release of Field Maps will include the tasks capability - a powerful way to manage field assignments with dynamic, actionable to-do lists.

Tasks are designed to help mobile workers stay organized and efficient, and provide organizations with a more granular view into the progress of work in the field.

If you’re currently using Workforce, this is your opportunity to explore what’s next. Tasks offer greater flexibility, improved customization, and a unified experience that reduces the need for multiple apps in the field.

Start testing tasks today
We’re inviting Workforce users to test tasks in our beta program. Your feedback will help shape the future of field coordination in ArcGIS.

Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more updates as we continue to evolve Field Maps to meet your needs.

I'm very excited about this and have been using the beta version. Do you have any idea when this will be pushed to Field Maps, ie when the next update is? I have a few field crews waiting on this to come out and would like to give them a realistic timeline.

Is there a workforce to Field maps migration guide?

Yes, I agree with that question. Is there a guide or tutorial that would be made public to assist in the migration from Workforce to Field Maps with tasks?

We have been using Workforce company wide for a variety of workflows and migrating from that to the Field Maps with Tasks feature is going to be a huge undertaking. I would like the ability to move/copy what we are working with to a new Field Map application versus starting all over from scratch.
