Hello,
1.What are the differences between "post" tool in the versioning toolbar, to "workflow custom post" tool?
2.We are having a problem with the tool "workflow custom post", it stopped working (the tool is unavailable for using, although the user executed reconcile). It worked as expected for one day but then, stopped working for all users. The post tool in the versioning toolbar is working fine. What could cause for it?
Is there any documentation, explaining, in what cases a new configuration/setting is requires replacing his JTC file/ restarting his wmx manager/ Applies to an existing job/applies to new jobs?

Hello,

The Workflow Manager Custom Post tool is to post the legacy JTX transactions. The Workflow Manager Custom Post tool should be used only if you have old JTX transactions created before 10.0 and would like to keep them. The transactions have been replaced by geodatabase archiving at 10.0.

In order to reconcile and post the geodatabase version at 10.0 you must use the Post tool on Versioning toolbar or the Post tool on Workflow Manager toolbar. Both these tools perform same function, we have the Post tool on Workflow Manager toolbar for easy access.

If you have legacy JTX transactions and the Workflow Manager Custom Post tool is not working with those, please submit a technical support incident for the same.

Hi, thank you for your response.
We had some issues with sde 10, so we are working with SDE 9.3.1 and WMX 10.
As I understand from your post is that we should keep working with WMX custom post. Is that right?
