Save the app in order to embed it into the app

There should be an option to save the editing view to be embedded within an application, similar to how it is done with a dashboard.

hello @CatalinaRamos can you provide some detail on what aspects of Web Editor you would like to save in an editing view?  We are considering functionality that I believe is similar to what you're asking for but knowing what you're trying to do will help to confirm.

I believe the editing view in the Web Editor should allow users to save it as a map. This would enable users to return to the same editing session later or even include the saved map in an application if needed. Reconfiguring everything from scratch every time you want to edit a layer—like opening the map, setting up the layers, and adjusting the configuration—can be very tedious and time-consuming. Saving the editing view would streamline workflows and improve efficiency, especially for repetitive tasks.

At this time, we don't have any plans to allow the saving of the web map within Web Editor.  However, we are looking at other proposals that I believe would satisfy your ask; allow a user to configure the Web Editor for re-use (and for simplicity).  Hope to have some updates on this close to the June release and User Conference.
