I am trying to run Web AppBuilder as a service - but when I run npm run-script install-windows-service, I get the following error -

> ArcGISWebAppBuilder@1.1.0 install-windows-service C:\arcgis-web-appbuilder-1.2\server

> winser -i

No rights to manage services.

npm ERR! Windows_NT 6.3.9600

npm ERR! argv "C:\\Program Files\\nodejs\\node.exe" "C:\\Program Files\\nodejs\\node_modules\\npm\\bin\\npm-cli.js" "run

-script" "install-windows-service"

Anyone know how to grant rights to manage services in Windows 10? The user is in the Administrators group for the server.

Nancy,

You need to launch the cmd window using "Run as Administrator"

Thanks!

For those like me unfamiliar with how to do this on Windows 10 - Right-click on lower left corner of display and one of the options will be Command Prompt (Admin)
