Hello,

I have two distinct layers; one containing polygons representing HOA boundary limits and another featuring our City Parcels.  Is there a widget (or method for that matter) that I can use to obtain all Parcels intersecting a selected HOA in ArcGIS Online?  I know I can use the select tool but I was hoping to utilize something very similar to the Intersect function in ArcGIS Desktop.

Many thanks in advance.

Jeff

Brace yourself for "stupid" questions Robert...please bare with me.

Is the "2" in your URL corresponding to the order of the layer in the legend list?

Jeff,

The layer ID is a zero base ID of the layer order in the map service. So 2 would be the third layer (the IDs include groups as well as actual layers).

Perfect.  That worked!  Thank you, Robert.

Jeff,

How many thousands of records do you have in the layer?

Robert,

Only 161 records in the attribute table.

Jeff,

Can you check the browsers console and see if there are any errors listed there?

Jeff,

Unfortunately that is not helpful. If you do not select unique value can you get the widget to complete a query successfully?

Robert,

Yes.  If I change it to "Ask for Values" it completes the query successfully.

For Unique...I have just the Unique button enabled, nothing for "Ask for Values", nothing enabled for "Value is required to be entered to enable search", and the SQL statement reads "HOA_Name = ''

It was cycling before...now it doesn't search at all.

I'm mystified.

Robert,

I should actually add that the individual HOA Names are not showing up in the drop down.  It's completely blank.  Almost like the query doesn't understand where to get the data for "Unique".
