Upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2

I would like to upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2.
I have a 3.1 application working that includes the enhanced search widget. If I upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2 and select to overwrite the current 3.1 application builder, will this affect my current application in any way?

I don not want to have to recreate the application that I currently have running.

Neil,

I would suggest that you create a second application and run it in parallel with your first. Once you have checked that the new application functions correctly you can swap them over and then delete the old one.
