I've written a web application that consumes image services. If I want to show a legend, is it up to me as developer to roll my own solution? Do any widgets or functionality in the web api's offer any help? Other options?
Rolled my own. Attached is the enhanced javascript 2.8 legend control designed to provide legend for 10.1 image services with discrete (thematic) data. The image service must contain a colormap and optionally a raster attribute table. Feel free to use, customize, etc.
