I am able to produce an error free release build, but after firing up the site, the widgets have no color - they are clear.  Very frustrating, but I am sure there is a solution out there?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

Are you attempting to convert a SFV 1.3 Site to a one that uses 2.x API and Flex SDK 4? There is really not enough info in your post for us to know what you are doing.

I am using 2.X API and Flex 3.2.  I am just trying to export my project to a release build.  Project-> Export Release Build (it exports to the bin-release with no errors).
I then copy the contents of the bin-release folder into a folder accessed by users on the web.  The site opens fine, but the widgets are clear/no color - they should be using the darkangel color theme.
A bit more information - does this help?

Chris,

This is unusual... Do you have a com\esri\solutions\flexviewer\themes\darkangel\style.swf in the folder you make on the release server?

I am using 2.X API and Flex 3.2.

Are you sure about that?  The 2.x API requires Adobe Flex 4 SDK...

The ArcGIS API for Flex 2.x requires the Adobe Flex SDK 4.x.

Robert,
The .swf was not in the darkangel folder from the build - strange.  I copied the .swf from the bin-debug folder and the widget themes are now working.
Thanks for the lead.
Best,
Chris

Sorry, I was mistaken and need to clarify.
I was using ArcGIS flex API 1.X and Flex SDK 3.5.
I have since upgraded to ArcGIS API 2.X and Flex SDK 4.X
