Hmm... No I don't believe it's redundant as is has a default value of 3 pixels. So the setting of this value is not used to automatically determine that the tolerance should be used. But adding a new configuration option for this is simple enough so version 2.5.0.2 will have this ability.

Possible bug. I'm using v.2.5.0.2. I have two fields with Coded Value Domains. When I search and then open the data grid, both those fields show values of [object CodedValue]. See attached image. However, in the search box, they show up fine. Any suggestions?

I used your xml you provided and searched for "Weaver lake Elem" and the reservation for that school came up fine.

I did several things, including clearing my rest cache, copying the widget you had precompiled (instead on the one I had compiled with my viewer), and made sure all the assets were in place and now it works.

As a side note the images folder in eSearch\uncompiled\eSearch\assets\images has 21 images and the images folder in eSearch\FV2.5compiled\eSearch\assets\images only has 17. Just wanted to let you know.

I know the code base is complex for this widget but would you entertain a request to bring attachments to this widget like your infotemplates widget?

Try downloading again. I updated the zip to ensure the correct number of assets in each folder.

I will add attachment support to the wish list, although I am getting concerned that this widget does to much (the main mxml is nearly 4000 lines of code. and has 22 supporting files).

I am having an issue with relates again. The relate button displays but says there are no related records, even for schools where I know there are multile related records.

If you do a search for Jackson Middle, then you should get a result that has related records in all 3 relates.

When I do use the query related tables link on the rest end point pages I get results.

Does anybody know why I might only have the graphical search tool as a selection method while the others including show datagrid disappear. Is it that something that automatically occurs with the data type or geometry server. I did not disable the buttons in the xml. The icons are in the assets folder. The graphical search seems to work.

You should win a prize for this. Some how you choose the one programmatic path that I missed a step in. Because you were using a layer with multiple relates and you did not define specific return fields for any of the relates the oid was not getting passed to the query... Anyway I have it fixed and will get it released ASAP. Thanks for using my new feature and helping me fine tune it.

I think I found my error. Github is still supplying the 2.4 version. The web page has the 2.5 version for download. After creating the list below, I realized I had some mismatches. The mismatches in swc and widgets caused the odd behavior. You might think of updating the github or removing it as the download link.

Does anybody know what happened to the ability to select graphically using the Polygon tool, or how to enable it?

Also I've noticed something with the latest widget. When doing a graphical search the related record button does not appear unless I first do a text search. After the text search the related records button will appear in both methods of searching. Is anyone able to replicate this behaviour?

That is all covered in the documentation (Enhanced Search Widget Fixed Datagrid Setup.pdf) and in the example config.xml you will see exactly the configuration needed.

* Fixed relates button not showing up unless you first do a text search.
* re-enabled the polygon and polyline graphical search abilities.
* When "enable multi-part graphics" is selected and then the Search button is pushed
the graphical searches draw tool is now turned off. Meaning after you click search
you will have to choose a search geometry type button to perform another search.
* If using the Fixed Datagrid and a relate is chosen then the relate tab is activated.

LOL, I get that, I would just like the datagrid to show up docked, and then slide away if I'm messing with the map to preserve real estate.

Ya, some one else requested the same. But the whole reason I created the fixed datagrid was for those who wanted the datagrid to always be visible in a fixed location. If you are wanting to conserve screen real estate than you should stick with the floating datagrid and just close it when you are not using it. Currently I just don't have any plans for making the fixed datagrid auto hide.

One last thing, in graphical search, in 2.5 I'm only seeing point and rectangle, but your online sample shows line and polygon as well. Is there a switch that I'm missing? My 2.4 implementation has all the choices, but my 2.5 does not.

Every time there is a new release you need to check the documentation to see if there was a change to the configuration files. Yes there has been changes since 2.4.

I'd like to implement functionality in this widget so the user can input an address, and I will run a geoprocessing buffer on the address they input, and then create a report for their input address. Can you provide me any guidance for this?
Workflow as follows:
1. User inputs address
2. Geocode address and pass those X,Y coordinates to a buffer function.
3. Use the buffer to analyze what is in the buffer such as parcels that intersect the buffer and create a report showing all parcels intersecting the 100 foot buffer.

I see I can use your buffer widget as input to the eSearch for a graphical search, but I'd like to minimize the steps so the user just inputs and address, and it zooms to the predefined buffer distance and pops up with a report.
