Hi Team,
We are facing an issue while configuring ArcGIS Velocity in our ArcGIS Enterprise environment.
"Portal for ArcGIS is currently unavailable or inaccessible. Please check the connection and try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator"
Portal for ArcGIS and Server both are working Properly
Environment Details - We have two domains one for internal and second is external / public
- vlserver.xxyy.corp (internal domain) Our all VM are running on the domain.
- vlserver.xxyy.in (external / public) and we have the SSL certificate of this only.
Configuration Steps Performed
We followed the following steps in ArcGIS Velocity installation and federation as per the ArcGIS Velocity installation guide.
Installed ArcGIS Velocity on a dedicated VM.
During site creation, selected: - "No, I want to specify a different hostname" and choose the vlserver.xxyy.in as the external host name.
- Import the SSL certificate (xxyy.in SSL certificate) using the admin page of ArcGIS velocity - vlserver.xxyy.in:7143/arcgis/admin
Import the Portal and Server certificates into ArcGIS Velocity.
Changed the ArcGIS Velocity web server SSL certificate - xxyy.in to the public domain certificate.
Imported the ArcGIS Velocity certificate into both Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server.
Federated ArcGIS Velocity with Portal for ArcGIS using the public domain URL.
Troubleshooting Performed
During troubleshooting, we added the ArcGIS Velocity URL - vlserver.xxyy.in:7143 to:
Portal → Organization → Settings → Security → Allow origins
After adding the Velocity URL to the Allow Origins list- ArcGIS Velocity starts working correctly.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Kristofer
