With the increasing adoption of IoT devices that support MQTT for data transmission (for example, Dragino NB‑IoT MQTT configuration General Configure/Commands to Connect to IoT server for -NB & -NS NB-IoT models - DRAGINO), it would be valuable for ArcGIS Velocity for ArcGIS Enterprise to support direct device-to-platform connectivity without requiring an intermediate MQTT broker.
Currently, ArcGIS Velocity requires a connection to a broker and cannot directly receive MQTT messages from devices acting as publishers, which introduces additional architectural complexity and infrastructure overhead for lightweight IoT deployments.
Please add support in ArcGIS Velocity for ArcGIS Enterprise for direct MQTT ingestion from devices (publisher-to-platform connectivity).
