This innovative project leverages real-time 3D monitoring and data visualization to track wildlife movements, reducing vehicle collisions and safeguarding both animals and motorists. By utilizing ArcGIS Velocity, the team processes GPS data from solar-powered collars every 15 minutes, enabling rapid location analysis within 40 seconds to make informed decisions on wildlife crossing structures and other mitigation strategies.
