Hi Team,

We are currently using ArcGIS Enteprise 11.1 with Utility Network capabilities. We have two users with GIS Professional Advanced User Type and Creator plus Utility Network extension type. While we are trying to perform trace in Instant App (configured with Web Map along with named tracing configuration), we are getting an error - 'An error occurred The account logged in is missing a license for the ArcGIS Utility Network user type extension.' Can someone please suggest?

Any help would be highly appreciable.

We had this issue when we were doing a PoC.
Can you confirm the UN service isn't shared publicly?

What fixed it for us was - changing the sharing level of the service to the organization.

@gis_KIWI4 is likely onto something. If you set the service to be public, then the user won't be forced to authenticate with the named user account that gives them access to the licenses required to trace.

This should be less of an issue at 11.2/11.3 with the Advanced Editing user type license since we no longer require a license to trace at those releases.
