Question about "Ignore Barriers At Starting Points" behaviour

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding the behaviour of the "Ignore Barriers At Starting Points" option during an Isolation Trace.

This is my situation:

So, if I need to isolate this area, I have to close the valve on the right.

If I place the starting point on the left of at least a service line, the results of the trace are as expected:

But if I place it on the right of the service lines, the valve is ignored:

The horizontal line is a single feature from the left tip to the valve, so I can't explain how having a junction between the starting point and the isolating barrier changes the results.

Is it a bug? Is it by design? Is there a workaround?

Thanks,

Marco

Marco,

I can repo it on my dataset too.  Definitely seems like a bug.  I would log it.
