Hello, is it possible to publish the feature dataset from my asset package to AGOL for use in field maps? I am just trying to digitize geometry when out in the field as I am not complete or have staged/deployed a UN from the Asset Package and moved it to Enterprise. Just currently working in a FileGDB.

@Joshua_Moreno - Yes you can if you have network data in Asset Package.
You won't need to publish the whole package, you can just publish the Utility Network Tables

These should have the domains etc that will make online editing slightly easier.
You should also be able to create templates and forms etc for easier editing in FieldMaps.
You can also symbolize them the way you see fit.

What this will NOT have are the network rules, tracing, validation, etc. So this can lead to erroneous data being input which will only be caught when you stage the UN and turn on the topology.

I've tried publishing these tables/layers but I keep getting an Unidentified error when trying to share them to my AGOL organization. Any idea as to why?

Also, thank you for your response!

Can you post a screenshot of the error along with the options you are using for publishing?

I ended up exporting the features to a mobile geodatabase and was able to share it from there. Not too sure what the error was as it gave me no indication than "Unidentified Error" or just simply "Error." Will do troubleshooting later to find the cause and will report back for documenting.

On a side note, can you remind me or point me to the list of the required fields needed for establishing connectivity/trace capabilities for a UN? Asset Type, Asset Group, Device Status (Open/Closed), In Service Status. Am I missing anything?

There’s many more. I would retain all the system maintained fields like SUBNETWORKNAME, TIERRANK, etc

Also don’t forget about any other fields you may set as Network Attributes. You can use them for creating  filter barriers

The asset package does convert the GlobalID field to a Guid and disable editor tracking.  You might want to delete the GlobalID field(type GUID) and re-add it.  Also enable editor tracking.

Not sure if this is a possibility for your organization, but you could also use your ArcGIS Enterprise feature service with Field Maps. This would require a VPN or other software on your devices to be able to connect to ArcGIS Enterprise.
