Hi there,

I am currently working with routes and pipes in the Structure Network of my Utility Network. A route can contain multiple pipes. Is there a way to display all the pipes parallel to the route?

If this works, I have another question: When I am editing the route geometry, I want to update the pipe geometry automatically. Is this implementable?

Greetings from Germany

Luca

Just to be clear. Do you mean that the routes and pipes share the exact same geometry, or that pipes are segments of a route?

Symbology-wise, yes setting offset works. Essentially you have to adjust the Offset value under Symbology - Properties for the necessary asset types for your Structure Network features. Something like below.

As for automatically updating the pipe geometry, I can think of using attribute rules to achieve that. But the attribute rule needs to be able to identify the exact pipe feature to be updated, either using certain attributes or some spatial query rules that can be coded in the attribute rules.

They are sharing the same geometry. So maybe there is a way to work with offsets? But I dont know..

Alright thank you! I will try to get this done with an attribute rule.
