Hello,

I'm trying to change the name of an existing subnetwork, but can't find a way how to do it (apart of deleting and creating the subnetwork again with a new name). According to the documentation (Change the name of a subnetwork) it should be possible, but when I try to change the name the apply button in Modify Subnetwork Controller tool is disabled and I'm not able to apply the edit.

There are no dirty areas and the new name is unique for the entire network (only two subnetworks exist in my source data. I thought the problem could be in the Cyrillic characters I'm using, but I experience the same behavior with Latin symbols.

We don't allow you to truly "rename" a subnetwork, we delete the old subnetwork and create a new one for you as soon as you click apply. What happens if you do the steps individually? Delete the current subnetwork, and create a new subnetwork on that device?

I have no troubles deleting the subnetwork and creating it again (using Delete a subnetwork). I thought the rename option in the Modify Network Controller tool will be much easier because deleting and recreating the subnetwork requires more steps to be executed 🙂

I dug a little deeper on this and it looks like this is currently a known bug with that UI. BUG-000151677

Thank you @RobertKrisher , it's good to know the issue is not caused by me as I'm still learning UN and there are a lot of things I can mess up 🙂
