I was wondering if other folks have automated running the Update IsConnected geoprocessing tool (Update Is Connected (Utility Network)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation) as part of their workflow, and if so, how frequently you run it.
We have ours set up in a script to run weekly. We have a lot of field collected assets, and the IsConnected field does not update unless the tool is run. When we first moved to the Utility Network there were many areas that looked connected, but were not, so we used it to find all these places and connect assets. Now it is still running, but we only do a more periodic check.
I run mine periodically from time to time. Sometimes it helps just to push stuff out clean things up.
