Why does the newest Electric Unbalanced Distribution Utility Network Essentials download in the Electric Utility Network Foundation Solution no longer have a Data Dictionary Excel File?

The data dictionaries are now available directly in the help documentation.

Thank you @PatrickGCowan,

Is there any way to do filtering at the table level? We used the filtering functionality a lot in Excel.

For example: Filtering the Source Name on the Assignments Table. (see image)

We’re currently working on further enhancements to the online data dictionaries, including the addition of some filtering capabilities. At this time, the web-based version doesn’t support table-level filtering like Excel does.

If you prefer working in Excel, you can still generate your own version of the schema report using the following steps:

  1. Download the latest version of the Utility Network Foundation solution so you are working with an original non-modified copy.
  2. Use the Asset Package to Geodatabase tool (found in the Utility Network Package toolbox) to convert the asset package into a Utility Network geodatabase.

Tip: You can run this without loading data—you're just creating the schema.

  3. Then, run the Generate Schema Report tool against the generated Utility Network geodatabase to create an Excel version of the schema report.
