Creating electrical circuits with the “Batch Trace” tool

Hello,

I have two questions regarding the creation of electrical circuits. The creation of circuits can be done with the two tools “Build Starting Points” and “Batch Trace”, which are part of the Esri Foundation solutions.

1.
Based on a 3-phase representation (each phase is represented by its own line geometry) - is it possible to combine all three phases in just one circuit using the tools mentioned? If so, how does this work?

2.
There are cases in which a circuit has a branched, Y-shaped course. Can such circuits also be created with the tools mentioned?

Many thanks for your help, best regards,
Jürgen

A picture would help, but I think so.

The batch trace just stores starting locations in a table.  It allows you to group those starting points by a value.  It then runs 1 trace for each group.  The build starting points help generate those groups.

Batch Trace can also create aggregated geometry of the trace results, like a subnetwork does.  But, these features would be stored outside of the UN.
