Is it possible to allow the utility to configure their own association type/role? This would allow the utility to model different types of relationships between their assets.
Some examples would be
- An electric device controls another electric device (control unit to a recloser, controller to a streetlight)
- Allow an electric line to be attached to a structure junction
Also, this would allow for the system association type/roles to be changed as well. eg. For an electricity distributor, an electric line (overhead conductor) to be attached to a structure junction (crossarm)
As these associations are relationships which are the same as attachments/containment, these follow the same rules in trace configurations to be included or not, etc.
This would bring all association rules into one configurable area within the UNM.
