Multiple accessibility enhancements are included in the ArcGIS Pro 3.7 and ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 releases, such as improved screen reader narration and keyboard accessibility across multiple panes and layout elements.

Web apps

The Topographic Mapping web apps available with an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment include multiple accessibility fixes to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.

  • All landmark region page content is wrapped in proper ARIA specifications to improve screen reader navigation.
  • Keyboard-accessible scrolling is enabled for data grids.
  • ARIA role hierarchy is revised to ensure interactive elements are valid within grid containers.
  • Combo boxes and select elements that lacked labels now have accessible names.
  • Accessibility findings have been addressed, establishing a baseline for future accessibility testing.

Visual and user interface fixes

An issue where the project error tool tip was clipped and semi-transparent when hovered over has been fixed. The tool tip is now fully visible and opaque across all themes.
