When will Survey123 allow nested repeats without duplicate data entries?

Each time I try to calculate a value in the form from user-entered data in a nested repeat, the data itself is repeated - either causing redundant data, blanks or inaccurate calculations. Or, the nested repeat gets stuck on the highest number of the repeat data entered, causing blank entries for the next data entry. (see attached images - error is highlighted on image "3")

Hi. Did you try applying the minimal appearance to your repeat?

Hi Ismael,

I tried it right now. It still gives me the same error.

We're experiencing the same thing. Nested repeats seem to work fine when the 'grandchild' attributes don't have any calculations. As soon as we try to use a calculation, the problems occur. The minimal appearance for the nested repeat is also not respected when we use calculations which I think is the expected behavior. Any update on this issue or is this by design? One workaround we found is to set the repeat_count. In our situation this works fine, because we know we will only have a set number of records in the nested repeat.

Hi James,

We are looking into the issue and hoping to address in the next release.
