I have a survey - the web form gives me this strange error, that I do not see anywhere or any documentation on. thoughts? is it because of the pages?

The error you are getting is because you are using property('deviceid') which is not supported in the web app. Here is a list of the supported pulldata() properties and the correct syntax to use in a calculation: Prepopulate answers—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS
