Hi

I am trying to format a group label in Survey123 connect based on the responses to a yes / no question.  I get the correct result in the Survey 123 field app, but it does not give the desired result in the Survey123 web app.  I have tried two approaches and neither work.  The spreadsheet is attached.

The intention is to have the color of the group label change depending on the yes / no value selected.

From the field app, everything looks ok here in the field app

But the web app is not behaving as expected, note the group layer is missing for one group. in the second group part of the html is exposed, and color selection is not changing with the change in yes/no selection.

Any assistance greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hi again @abureaux - I raised a case with Esri and a bug reference has been created, so we will see what happens.  I am planning to use the web app for external users who are likely not to want to download apps or install survey123 applications.  - BUG-000164936

I don't believe you can do dynamic headers in the web interface. Your method is correct though.

Also, just a couple of pointers:

  • Calculates don't support any "appearance", and "label" isn't required for them.
  • Your "Constraint" for the select_one is redundant since you they are required.

Thanks @abureaux - I have been trying to find something in survey123 documentation that defines the limits of dynamic headers in the survey123 web app.  Do you have any relevant references?

Sorry, but I don't. I tend to not use the Web Interface much. With one exception, all my surveys are designed for the Field App.

Beyond this Blog Post, which you have likely already seen, I am not aware of anything else formatting-wise that's geared towards the Web Interface (I'm not saying that there isn't anything else, just that I, specifically, am not aware of it).
