Using Survey123 web designer version 3.20.

Attempting to construct a calculation using "Extract data". The "Extract property from question" -> "Select a question" dropdown input is not populating with available questions.

I've tried multiple question types (with multiple question types available in the survey to extract data from). I've tried multiple surveys. I've tried on ArcGIS.com and our on-prem Portal instance. I've tried Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.

What am I missing? Anyone experienced this before?

I'm having the same issue on my end. Seconding this in hopes we can get some support / workarounds for this.

@ZacharySutherby@IsmaelChivite any thoughts on this?

Hello @MillerDerek @trwhit_kalcounty

What other question types do you have in the survey design? Extracting a property from another question mainly works with Location and some Media question types.

Thank you,
Zach

Hi @ZacharySutherby

Text input, file upload, integer.
The goal is to pull the number of files on the file input.
Thanks,

@ZacharySutherby is it possible to get the file count from the file upload input in web designer?

If I modify the form to include a 'camera' media input, that question becomes available in the calculation on an integer input... and I can pull lat / long from the EXIF... but that's not what I'm hoping to achieve.

Looks like you can use count-selected() in XLSForm, but I cannot find any documentation for web designer to indicate whether this is supported or not.

Thanks!
