Survey123 report showing boxes in-place of text for the field values.

I noticed that when my reports have been running recently when a new Survey123 form is submitted, the fields are not populating with the text values selected in the survey. Instead empty boxes replace the text. This has not happened in the past and nothing has changed with my report template or my survey xlsx form.
