Survey123 - Occasional Publish Error Message

Often after making changes to our survey and republishing, we get the following error:

Fields not found in the feature service:1

Note:

1. No changes were made to the feature layer, only some coding in the XLSform.

2. Closing Survey123 and reopening, or cancelling a few times, the survey will publish.

Any ideas why this is?

It looks like you are on an older version of Survey123 Connect. If you update to the latest 3.17.55 is the same behavior observed?
