Hi All,
I could use help, I can't get my survey123 survey to publish.
Background | I made a simple form that includes three separate image uploads and a map plus some simple questions like date, time, etc.. When I try to publish it gives me this error below. I think webp is an image file issue so I have tried adjusting the # of photos (now set to 1 photo each), playing with the cache, drawing tools for the map, etc. I can get it to publish. I am not sure what else I can do but wanted to reach out and see if anyone might have suggestions.
-1: "not support the content-type:webp"
Thanks in advance!

Finally figured it out. I just had to remove the image in my survey and once I did that it was able to publish. Glad to move on from this code error.
Hi Diana, as the error says, the image file type "webp" seems not to be supported in Survey 123. You can use a desktop app (like the free GIMP) or an online tool (like this: https://https://cloudconvert.com/webp-to-png/webp-to-png ) to convert your image to a supported format (like PNG, for instance).
Hi Jordi,
Thanks for your expertise. What I don't understand is that I am just using the "image" question to add to my survey. My other surveys have used this feature with no problem at all. I am not sure what the default image file types are for the survey123 "image" question (there was no option for me to de-select the webp file). I don't need a webp file just png and jpg. Anyhow, thank you for your insight. I can try that if I can't get this error resolved.
OK, I think I misunderstood your scenario (I thought you (the author survey) were providing your own images (among them, a *.webp one) as part of the survey layout.
And yes, I think for 'image' questions there is no option to filter the accepted image formats (I would expect these would be accepted: BMP, GIF, JPC, JPE, JPEG, JPF, JPG, and PNG (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/xlsformmedia.htm )
If nowhere in your survey you specified that '.webp' and the error comes at the time of publishing, I would suspect a bug on Esri's part (a mismatch between what Connect generates and what AGOL expects)?
