I am trying to create a report for a survey that has approximately 40 records.
When I try to create a sample template in manage templates, I receive an error message that states, “An error occurred while saving the report template” The error code is 504.
I was able to create a sample report template in two other surveys, so the issue is with this survey.
A web search for the error code has been less than helpful.
If you have run across this issue before any advice would be appreciated.

We plan to deploy the hotfix1 to production tomorrow.
The "unable to download the report from AGOL" seems like a different issue, could you please let us know the error msg returned by the report service?

Hi, we are also getting this error today for one of our surveys when trying to generate a report using the Survey123 REST API. We are geting a 500 Internal Server Error code. So something on the ESRI side broke all of a sudden.

I just checked and I am still getting the error message.
Thanks for confirming @TommyBarnes. Would it be possible to share your survey's XLSForm with us so we can test this in-house? You can it attach here, send the form via a private message, or create a case with Esri Technical Support if possible.

This issue occurs on the multi-lingual survey published using Connect. The fix for this issue is available on BETA. Could you please help try it on our BETA env https://survey123beta.arcgis.com/?
If this fix solves the issue, we will deploy it to prod with hotfix1 build.

Hi Ruth, we are having the same issue and using the Beta version solved the problem of generating the report, although I am still unable to download the report from AGOL. When will this be released please?

Actually Ruth, I was using Edge, but when I went onto Chrome, it was fine, so probably an issue my end (Apologies)

No worries. The Survey123 Website should work with Edge. I tried generating a report on Edge, and it worked as expected for me. Feel free to reach out if you encounter other issues.
