Can you suggest a way for the surveyor to keep track of the locations of surveys collected in the field?   If one is using Collector, the map provides an overview of the collected points.  Is there a good way to do this in Survey123?  Or maybe we should just move to Collector.   Maybe using them in tandem?    Or invoking Survey 123 when clicking on Collector's map?   Any thoughts?  Thanks?

Brian,

I would think that integrating the two apps together would possibly work well (as long as they're working, etc.). Here is a loose Esri article on integrating: Integrate with other apps—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

There is a somewhat detailed forum post from Derek Law about using them together:

Though, from looking at this thread, maybe some of the functionality is not there yet:

Hi Brian.  The idea of  being able to see all the data that a field user has collected, right from the  mobile device, has come up in several occasions.  One feature we are currently looking at implementing consists on adding a 'map view' option to the Survey123 folders (Sent, Drafts, Outbox etc). Would this do what you are looking for?

Hi Ismael.

This option to show collected points in a map is very cool and useful, but when I try to use an offline basemap, this basemap cannot be selected in this option. This option show only online maps. My offline basemap work fine inside form, but it does not appear in both Outbox map viewer and Draft map viewer. The same problem occurs in Both in Android and iOS systems.

Hi Adilson,

This is known limitation on the 'box' map behavior.
