Since the last time I updated survey 123 Connect it won't run when pinned to the Windows Taskbar. I get the message shown below. It will run from the Start menu, or from the apps menu, just not from the taskbar. Other apps, including s123, ArcGIS Pro, and anything else really will launch, just not Connect. Any thoughts about why?
Have you tried unpinning and repining from the start menu? I had that happen once and the shortcut pinned on the task bar was linked to a remnant from a previous install.
Also were the two version installed differently, i.e. was one installed via the store and the other via the installer from the Survey123 website. The old version might not have got uninstalled correctly from the update if that is the case.
those are good thoughts; I know the last update i had to install from windows store and that process didn't quite as clean as I thought it should. I'll explore that avenue a bit and report back!
