Hi

Lets say I have instances of geotrace. Can I have the input from the first show on the map of the second geotrace?

Maybe there is an obvious solution to this, but I can't seem to find it.

Cheers

Alex

Hi @AlexanderRossel ,

You just need to add the field name of the first geotrace into the calculation column of the second (and subsequent) geotrace questions. For example:

Hope this helps,

Brett

Thanks for your reply Brett. I appreciate the support!

Your solution is almost the thing I seek. However, I should have specified that I only want to show - and not edit - the previous input. With the procedure above I have to edit or replace the existing input from the first geotrace:

GT1.PNG

What I'm looking for is a way to trace a new feature and only visualize my previous input simultaneously.

So I could have something like this:

GT2.PNG

Where the red line is drawn in the second geotrace.

I hope it makes sense.

Hi @AlexanderRossel ,

OK, I understand your requirement now. Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. We have a beta feature that allows a similar (but different) behaviour for repeats with point geometry only. You can see your repeated points on any map in your survey. See the Early Adopter documentation for details.
