I'm trying to refine and existing survey and trying to avoid setting the theme to grid (it's more work than it's worth) I have successfully been able to set column widths with the body::esri:style set to layout+fixed-grid but it will only go to the default of each question is set to w1. I'd like to have the same ability to set the width of each question with in the group similarly to how the grid theme works. Is this possible?

For example I have the group appearance set to w6 and month, day and year set to w2, DOB to w4 and age to w2:

When I test it in a fresh form and set the theme/style to fixed grid it appears exactly how I'd like to to look :

Any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks,

Kyla

No, not possible.

This functionality was requested 3+ years ago, when there was no way to set the theme of individual groups. ESRI wrote it off as "implemented" 12 months ago. They have been notified that it didn't work for the reasons you just discovered, but here's bene no response that I have seen.

So no, there's no way to actually set the style of a group to "grid". You can put the word "grid" into the style field, but it has never actually worked as anything but an overcomplicated table.
