PIT Tag reader to Survey123 applications

Hello,

I work in fisheries and we currently use BluePiano and our HPR handheld Pit Tag reader to scan PIT tags into survey123 forms. Does anybody know any alternatives to BluePiano? We would like to get new tablets but BluePiano only works on older software as far as I can tell and we have yet to figure out an alternative.

Berntsen International's InfraMarker solution offers direct integration between Biomark RFID Readers and Survey123 application. RFID Scans can be initiated from Survey123 app and scanned PIT tag information is automatically bought back into Survey123 application.

Can you provide a step-by-step manual or description of how to read PIT tags from a BioMark reader and auto populate a Survey123 field? I am hoping for a streamlined process to use the Inframarker RFID app to transfer the scanned PIT tag into a survey123 field, but I don't need it to necessarily open a survey for each reading. Thanks for any help!

Just noting here that we connected on Teams and you’re now set up to use InfraMarker with the Biomark reader.
