Hello all,

I'm trying to show a text field that is read-only in the Survey123.arcgis.com dashboard Analyze tab and am not finding a way to do it.  The text field is populated via a calculation which totals the risk values calculated in previous questions.   I have the value shown on the survey itself as a read-only text box.  I've been looking for other options but am not finding one which would work.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, it's currently not possible with the Survey123 website.  I've listed your request in the discussion of supporting this enhancement.

Hi Jim,

Answers to read-only questions will show up on the Analyze page in 2.1 release, which planned in late May/early June.

  • Note: only read-only question with calculation set will show up on the Analyze page due to read-only question without a calculation will not generate a field in the behind feature service

Thanks again for your feedback!

Hi Zhifang,

You noted that only read-only questions with set calculations will appear on the Analyze page because read-only questions without calculations will not generate an attribute field in the underlying feature service. I am building my survey in Survey123 Connect off an existing feature service. In this case, my existing service has an attribute field for the read-only field already. Will a read-only field built from existing feature service where the field already exists appear in the Analyze page?

Thanks for your time and insight,
