We are using Field Maps and Survey123 Connect 3.18.124 for inspections. When a non-admin user tries to submit a survey, the following error appears (no code, no explanation):
The feature layer is shared with a group and editing is enabled.
In the Survey123 website under Collaborate, I have the groups selected.
The members of the groups are Creators with Data Editor roles.
Does anyone have suggestions on the settings I need to change to allow non-administrators to submit the survey? Thank you!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Did you intentionally pick 'attributes only'? Survey123 editing permissions requires geometry as well, regardless of if there's a geopoint question in there. I've submitted a bug/enh for this. Try enabling geometry updates. I don't think it applies to you though as you're adding, not updating via Inbox.
Otherwise things you can check:
Otherwise if you can share the XLSForm or logs it'll help a lot. Or what you've done after publishing - was it working and then stopped, etc.

Thank you for the suggestions @ChristopherCounsell
The source layer was shared to the group and I changed the editing to geometry and attributes. That did not resolve the issue, but your last suggestion of checking the survey123 target layer was the solution. That view layer did not have editing turned on.
Thank you!!
