Offline use of Survey123 in Collector via Portal

Question

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to link Collector with a Survey123 form for offline use? We are using Portal and I would like to link the two. The references I've read mention a web connection when adding/testing the item ID of the survey. Does that mean it would only access the survey when online? Trying to understand the capabilities of this workflow when offline. Thanks.

Thanks for your repsonse Phil. My roadblock was not downloading the Survey to the mobile device first. I was attempting to "test" the link in the Portal webmap, not realizing the link was calling on the mobile version of the Survey that had not yet been downloaded.

Hi Alecio,

Yes it should be possible. The thing to remember is that for Collector you will need an offline webmap with the pop configured and the app launch url to then launch Survey123 and pass the required values. You will then only be able to submit the survey once online, so they will be stored in Outbox.
